A 19-day tour of Egypt and India: Cairo, Luxor, Esna, Edfo, Kom Ombo, Aswan, Mumbai, Jaipur, Agra, Delhi
Day 1: Depart Canada/USA
Departure from Toronto, Montreal or New York (JFK) on our overnight flight (In-flight meals).
Day 2: Arrive Cairo
Upon arrival, we will be assisted through customs and immigration and transferred to our hotel. Tonight, enjoy a welcome dinner (D)
Day 3: Cairo
Today, visit the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. After lunch, spend the afternoon at Memphis. See the great Alabaster Sphinx, the colossal granite statue of Ramses II, and then drive to Sakkara to see the step pyramid of King Zoser.

Day 4: Cairo
Today, visit the Egyptian Museum, which houses the burial treasures of King Tutankhamon. After lunch, visit Islamic Cairo. Next, proceed to the Citadel of Salah El Dien with its two great mosques and a panoramic view of the city. Also, visit the colourful Khan El Khalili Bazaar.

Day 5: Luxor (Cruise)
Today, transferred to the Cairo Airport for our flight to Luxor where we will be escorted to embark on the Nile cruise ship, our floating hotel, for the next 5 days. This afternoon we will visit the Temple of Luxor and the Temple of Karnak, which has no equal among the national shrines of Egypt. (BLD)
Day 6: Esna/Edfo (Cruise)
Today we will explore the wondrous Valleys of the Kings and Queens, the Necropolis of Thebes, Queen Hatshepsut's Temple at Deir El Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon facing the Nile. This afternoon we will sail down the Nile to Edfo where we will spend the night (BLD
Day 7: Edfo/Kom Ombo (Cruise)
This morning, visit the Temple of Horus, and then continue sailing to Kom Ombo to visit the temple shared by the two gods Sobek and Haroeris. Tonight, enjoy a special costume party featuring the Native Egyptian and the Pharaonic styles. (BLD)
Day 8: Aswan (Cruise)
Today, cruise to Aswan to visit the impressive Aswan High Dam with the magnificent Temple of Philae. In the afternoon we will view the Agha Khan Mausoleum and Elephantine Islands by “Felucca”, a traditional Nile sailing boat. (BLD)
Day 9: Cairo
Today we will be transferred to the Aswan Airport for an optional trip by air to Abu Simbel and/or our flight back to Cairo where we will be transferred back to our hotel (B)
Day 10: Fly Cairo/Mumbai
Today we will be transferred to Cairo International Airport for your flight to Mumbai India
Day 11: Arrive Mumbai
On arrival at Mumbai International airport, special welcome by our representative and transfer to the hotel. (B)
Day 12: Mumbai
Morning depart on a cruise across Mumbai Harbour to visit Elephanta, a cluster of rock cut caves. Continue on a sightseeing tour to visit the Prince of Wales Museum with its extensive collection of 18th and 19th century Nepalese and Tibetan art. Also, visit the Gateway of India overlooking the harbour and ‘Dhobi Ghat' , the outdoor laundry. Drive up Malabar Hill to visit the Hanging Gardens. (BD)
Day 13: Fly Mumbai/Jaipur
Transfer to airport for your flight to Jaipur. On arrival transfer to hotel. (BD)
Day 14: Jaipur
Morning ride by elephant high up to Amber, a spectacular fortress with exquisite marble and mirror inlaid halls. After lunch, commence tour of Jaipur, also called the ‘ Pink City '. You will see the ‘Hawa Mahal' , a high and intricately carved wall. In the city palace, you can view an excellent collection of Rajasthani costumes, miniatures and an armoury of Rajput weapons. (BD)
Day 15: Jaipur/Agra
Drive through the fascinating countryside, to the beautiful walled city of Fatehpur Sikri. The building of this capital was substantially completed in 1574, but 14 years later it was abandoned, perhaps at the whim of an imperial favourite or because of a lack of water. Visit the redstone mosques; courtyards, and the palace where Akbar once played chess using people as pawns. Afterwards proceed to Agra. (BD)
Day 16: Agra
Agra with its laid-back life style and immense wealth of architecture, handcrafts and jewellery, is amongst the most remarkable cities of the world. Begin the sightseeing tour with the Taj Mahal - the most perfect architectural monument in the world. You will also visit the Agra Fort. (BD)
Day 17: Agra/Delhi
En route to Delhi, visit Sikandra, situated across the Yamuna River, which enshrines the tomb of Emperor Akbar. Continue on to Delhi (BD)
Day 18: Delhi
Your full day tour of Delhi will comprise of the Red Fort, Jama Masjid Mosque, Raj Ghat, the Ashoka Pillar and the mile long Chandni Chowk Bazaar. After lunch, you will drive through New Delhi. Historically significant sights include India Gate, President's House, Emperor Humayun's Tomb and the Qutab Minar.
Day 19: Fly Delhi/Mumbai/Cairo
